Summary: The Pueblo District 60 Education Foundation is proud to honor and recognize its two longest standing board members for their distinguished service to the teachers and students of Pueblo School District No. 60. Serving as the president of the board of trustees, Dr. M. Edmund Vallejo has provided extraordinary vision and leadership since the Foundation's inception as the organization's founder. Serving at his side for more than 20 years, Doris Kester has tirelessly provided the Foundation with her expertise and oversight in non-profit management.

While maintaining a seat as a trustee to the Foundation, Dr. Vallejo has stepped down from his role as president. Additionally, Mrs. Kester has resigned her seat as the vice president to allow for new members to continue the organization's mission and goals.

On behalf of the Education Foundation, we are humbled by their dedication and service to our schools and community, and are pleased to be able to honor them with this special recognition.
