Summary: The Board of Education is asked to recognize the 2019 State DECA winners and national qualifiers. At the DECA State Conference held on February 24-26, 2019 at The Broadmoor Hotel, Centennial DECA and East DECA each had one State Champion. East DECA also had a state runner-up and Centennial had two other students finish in the Top 10.

Centennial the State Champion and DECA National Qualifier:
Alanna Jackson (senior) she competed in Principles of Hospitality and Tourism

East DECA the State Champion and National Qualifier:
Holly Trujillo (senior) she competed in Financial Consulting

East also had a state 2nd place finisher and National Qualifier (junior) Caitlin Johnston. Caitlin also was elected as DECA District 9 State Vice President for the 2019-2020 school year.

Centennial's other two top 10 placers are Victor Isaac-Parker (senior) and Mackenzie Lucas (senior)
