Summary: Meghan Paulson, Wellness Coordinator, will present an update on the work of the Task Force and the AIM process. Pueblo City Schools received a Creating Healthy Schools Planning Grant from the Colorado Health Foundation to develop a Comprehensive Health and Wellness Plan that aligns with the Whole School, Whole Community, and Whole Child Model (WSCC). The WSCC Model is a collaborative approach to learning and health intended to improve each child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. To effectively complete this project, the District has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center (RMPRC) to convene a community Task Force following the AIM-XL process.
